You mean besides almost every social media app? Most aren’t made for kids. So either don’t give access or figure out how you’re going to parent your child with them(ie more discussions and critical thinking/research lessons)

Agree with others but also think 12 year olds shouldn’t be on Tiktok or any other social media.

She could absorb wrong information from TV, movies, youtube, friends, etc.

She's at that age of curiosity, make sure you explain to her reality vs. Social media.

Agreed. She will now absorb her misinformation on different apps or via websites, or talking with her friends who do have TickTok. Address the root problem. .

The apps are not problematic. It's the lack of critical thinking skills that is your 12 yr old's problem. Teach her how to think critically.

12 y.o. DD has been absorbing misinformation on Tiktok, so we will remove her access to the app. Are there any other apps that have been problematic for your teens and tweens?
