7 figure HHI, I am about 10 lbs overweight. It is really hard as you get older. I was never overweight until my 40s. I lose the weight and then if I eat anything other than lean protein and vegetables, I gain it back.

Broke as a joke and quite fit. Visible abs, tiny waist, hourglass shape, 45yo.

HHI is about $280k. I am very fit, but not skinny.. healthy and toned, DH is skinny fat right now due to stress and lack of time and too much beer, but can bounce back pretty quickly. My kids are skinny and active.

I have a flexible job that really helps me fit in daily workouts. It’s not impossible to regularly work out with a less flexible job, but it certainly helps! I can usually find some time during the day, be it first thing in the morning, or at lunch. Going remote full time helped too.

In addition to dedicated workouts, I have an high-energy dog that requires daily exercise, 2 active, bouncy kids, and my volunteer work is also very active.

And I like to eat a lot.

HHI is around 130k. I am very fit— walk everywhere, run a few times a week, lift weights and a lot of body weight exercise at home (pull ups, planks). My DH eats better than I do but exercises less, and it balances out. Together we spend maybe 500/yr on fitness, mostly on classes, sone home equipment, tube ups for his bike, and running shoes.

I also think our low stress jobs are important to our fitness. Neither of us would want a more intense job, at least in part because it would make it harder to take care of ourselves and I think we would both eat our stress.

Poorest person here so far. $160k. I am extremely fit. Work out 5x a week, 22 BMI.

I will tell you, though, that I see parents who I know have far higher HHI than me (we have been to their houses) who are obese and sedentary, so I don't think there's much connection between income and fitness.

Our HHI is finally over $100k now that we are in our 50s. I guess I should pick up some new fitness habits!

I run 6-9 miles a week but am trying to do more. My husband works out in our basement every other day. Our HHI is $350ish.

HHI income of $280K. DH is obese and likes to talk about maybe going for a walk. I'm currently thin and fairly fit because I got bored during COVID times and decided to drop a bunch of weight before hitting 50 next year. My fitness routine is very basic and includes walking uphill at a brisk pace about 25-30 miles a week. No gyms, trainers, classes, etc. Not something I care to spend money on beyond the price of a basic treadmill.

350-500k depending on the year. I run 30-40 miles per week plus strength & conditioning work and generally am in the top 10-20% of my age category in races. DH exercises 1-2 days per week, mostly lifting weights, and walks daily but is not as fit.

HHI of $180K. I'm very fit. It's a priority for our family to be healthy and active. We all play sports and try to eat healthfully. We also keep it simple -- a family gym membership, but not a lot of expensive classes or gadgets.

$1.1mm, not fit. I work out maybe twice a week (and by work out I mean ride the Peloton or take a Barre class pre-COVID). I'm not overweight or anything, but I'm not fit either.

Curious about anecdotal correlation between income and fitness
