Subaru, maybe forrester or outback wagon. I look for rear/blind spot visibility. I cant stand small SUVS that cover most of the corner panel in the back so you have major blind spots.

If the side mirror of a car has one of those added circle mirrors on it, I run. That means the blind spot is real bad.

Our new driver got the oldest car in our "fleet": a 16 year old hatchback with over 220k miles on it.

If you've got the money, buy as much safety as you can.

I have a 2019 Subaru Forester with all the safety features - it will be the car DS will use when he starts driving next year. I see the safety features as additional precautionary supports.

Subaru Crosstrek. It's a small crossover. The safety in Subaru is industry leading and it comes standard in all models. Insurance is cheap with a Subaru because the car itself can avoid accidents for you.

My mom, a professional driver of over 40 yrs with no issues driving almost got side swiped by a speeding driver. I am a baby driver about to get my dl. I want a safe car with backup cameras that is a mini suv of suv. Any recommendations?
