This feels right to me, assuming your on a roughly 8-9 hour day.

Like the previous 2 PPs said, the family with 2 kids should pay at least 60% of the nanny's compensation. Up to 66% (if you split by 1/3s).

I'd say that each kid is pretty much equal, because without the nanny picking up the older child in the middle of the day, they'd have to pay for a full day preschool/daycare which is most likely much more expensive.

1/3 per child, regardless of time spent with the child. The family with only one child wouldn't have to deal with preschool pick up if not for the older child.

We are starting a nanny share with a family who has two kids. One will require FT care and the other will require pick up from PK-3 after school and supervision for 3 hours after school. Our kid will require FT care. Does anyone have advice on how to structure the cost sharing? Thanks!
