I've used it for my current cycle, and so far, it's been great.
I've posted this on another thread, but I am AMA with DOR. I started with DF in 2019, had success on my third egg retrieval/2nd FET (had either no normal PGS or 1 normal PGS from each cycle). My child is happy and healthy.
We want a second, so I went back to DF last year, did 4 more retrievals, either ended up with no eggs (empty follicles), or few eggs that either didn't fertilize or grow past day 3. After much research, I decided to give CCRM Nova a try. My Dr. added Omnitrope, clomid, and used Zymot for sperm selection, so not sure if it's the Omnitrope that improved my results. Did my first retrieval with CCRM, to my surprise, I had 4 follicles, all had eggs. Out of 3 mature eggs, all 3 fertilized, all 3 made it to blasts though they only biopsied 2 high grades for PGS. This is a miracle for me. I also used to stim for 14-15 days, but with this cycle with the additional meds, I only stimmed for 8 days. I was told that this could be due to the Omnitrope, esp first time users.

I was at a different CCRM clinic and it seemed part of their standard protocol. In terms of end result did not make a difference for me.

I used it several years ago. I was a poor responder with poor egg quality (in my early 40's at the time). It didn't work for me, but I'm glad I tried it. Good luck, hope it makes a difference for you!

OP here. Thank you all for the responses. I was at SG and they said they don’t use it. I have an appointment at CCRM Virginia this week. I am glad to hear they are using it.

GW prescribed it for me. I was a poor responder with bad egg quality and it didn't seem to make a difference, but at least the RE was willing to try pretty much whatever I asked for.

22:41 poster here. My first cycle was what I think is considered standard: 300 gonal, 3 vials menopur, ganirelix added. My later cycles were omnitrope priming, 2 vials menopur, 150 gonal, clomid, ganirelix added. Also did a bunch of supplements (acia, ubiquinol CoQ-10, l-arginine.)
First cycle was a disaster with nothing fertilized. In two later cycles, I had one PGS-tested "normal" embryo each. I have DOR and this was considered a mini-IVF cycle.

PP, do you mind sharing what other changes you made to your protocol?

To OP, I recently asked and SGF doesn't prescribe it by policy.

I used it at CCRM. The cycles in which I've used it have produced better results than the one in which I didn't. But we totally changed up the protocol so it's hard to know if the omnitrope alone gets the credit. It was probably the mix. But I definitely had a higher AFC on it. good luck!

Hi everyone! I am in the Maryland area. I was wondering if any of you had Omnitrope prescribed by your RE? Which clinic? I had 3 failed cycles and I want to try this as it’s supposed to increase egg quality. My current clinic does not prescribe it. Thanks!
