I wear sunscreen daily but most days, if I have on makeup, I'm also just at my desk all day.

For days that I wear sunscreen and plan to be outside, I go without makeup.

It's not makeup, it's an SPF 50 that's tinted.

Um ... how long do you think sunscreen lasts on the face? Answer: two hours. More specific answer: if you're in water or sweating, it's 40-80 minutes. So you have to reapply often.

if you are in water or sweating- your make up is going to be gone too so just reapply sunscreen and move on.

I use a tinted sunscreen for this reason.

It's not makeup, it's an SPF 50 that's tinted.

You should be wearing sunscreen daily, alone or under your makeup. The “sunscreen” your makeup has isn’t enough for sun protection

Brush on Powder. I like the Mineral Fusion one because it is inexpensive. There is also a Tarte one, Colorscience, etc. Unless it is beach or sport - then I have no makeup on so can use whatever.

I also stick to shade and hats as much as I can though.

I'm with you OP. I have o clue. Maybe you can get blotting paper to blot excess oil on your face, then use a powder with SPF in it?

I layer it on in the morning and wear a hat or hang out in the shade. I definitely get too much sun on my face. But I just can't slather that greasy stuff all over my face multiple times a day. So I guess I'll just deal with sunspots and wrinkles! Oh well.

I don’t wear makeup if I’m out all day for this reason. Yes they make powders, but I don’t believe the actual coverage you get from powder when applied in real life isnt what it advertises. A thickly powdered face in bright sunlight doesn’t look good either, IMO.

If you're out all day, how do you reapply sunscreen to your face, especially if you are wearing makeup? I heard that there is a powder sunscreen that works for this situation.
