Look, any physical attribute you have is not a problem. Everybody has different tastes when it comes to physical attributes. There is somebody out there for everybody. But confidence and self-esteem is universally attractive. Stop thinking about your body and think about loving yourself and living your best life.

But 5'2" (which I am) is only 2" shorter than average. In other words, it well is within the range of average.

Sure, models are tall and so on... and there are always little issues with being tall enough for this or that to be comfortable (chairs, shelf height)-- but that's largely because most things are designed for people around 5'10" *because things are designed for cis men*.

But in terms of dating? No. If you were a 5'2" man, okay. But people don't care about women's heights nearly as much, and to the extent they care at all, again-- 5'2" is within the range of average.

5'1" here ... OP you are fine. Why would being short be a problem unless you are a man? When I was younger I wished I was taller, now I think it's just perfect. Some men may not be attracted to you and your shortness, others may be exceptionally attracted to that.

If you really are super worried get therapy.

5’3 here - never had any issues. Past boyfriends have ranged from 5’8-6’4. Fun fact: tall men really love petite women.

Yeah that's true for men. Short women don't have the same issues as men.

You need to look a this as a positive. The dating pool is wide open for you. You can date short people to very tall people. I am shorter than 5'2" and I've never had difficulty finding people to date. My husband is over 6' and sometimes he has to reach things for me, and I do have to ask him to slow down while he is walking, but other than that, it's the same as anyone else.

I am in my late 20s and have never dated before but I am nervous because of my height. I am 5''2.
