PreK 4 is the last opportunity for the children to get, not only the necessary socialization (working in small and large groups especially), but the developmental academic guidelines that children in this area are expected to have before entering Kindergarten are invaluable. I believe having your child in a pre"school" at this age is more important than a daycare. You have had the benefit of daycare to this point. Your child is ready for more.

If you do this, you will not get a spot. The demand is too high and there are less preschools available in the area.

Most schools are still not allowing parents inside for tours, pickups and drop-off plus they are requiring masks for ages 2 and up. Is anyone else thinking of skipping PK4, or perhaps waiting for a January admission?
