For No. 2, how do players/coaches get from the locker room to the benches; is it right under our POV? The windows will be broken or riddled with condensation.
No. 1 reminds me of the (now replaced) open air rink at my old high school. I would vote for it.

I don’t think they’re at the same level. It’s a photoshopped design but the stairs and handrails look like they’re meant to depict different levels.

1st one is perfect setting to watch Elsa Live! On Ice traveling show. 2nd is stunning, I didn’t even know they made ice rinks like that. I vote for 2 just to get away from the sad refrigerator box rink style.

Different designs for different areas based on climate
The first is for somewhere that gets a lot of snow the pointy roof so the snow falls off and less glass to keep it warm because i brt its really cold outside.
The second has to be in a more temperate climate and theyre spending a lot on AC and cooling. With all that glass i bet it can also be used for other multi purpose events.
