Definitely a mat. Maybe those hand weights you fill with water?

Not OP, but what is the best exercise when one has no access to a pull-up bar to try to not lose progress or at least limit regression if you don’t have access for an extended period of time?

Bands are good and ditto calisthenics suggestions from others.

If you’re kids are over age 2 get the fam involved. My toddler loves Cosmic Kids Yoga and Kids Bop dance. Both get my heart rate up!

I do a full body HIIT workout at home with just 15 lb weights, a booty band and a mat. The rest are all body weight exercises. I'm soaked in sweat by the end.

Here are some of my exercises:

Push ups
Burpees
Jumping jacks with weights
Back row with weights
Jump squats/jump lunges
Mountain climbers (different variations)
Planks (different variations)
High knee jumps
Ab bicycles
Russian twists with weight
Etc

You can create you own circuit of exercises and just run through the whole set several times. Or do 2 sets of one circuit, 2 sets of another etc.

Check out this badass workout girl on IG, I've got a lot of new exercise ideas from her: https://www.instagram.com/realrubaali/

Thanks will look into a TRX strap. Nope! Plenty of other countries require a two week hotel quarantine.

TRX, bands, and a yoga mat so that you’re not on the rug.

Just bands. You should be able to do plenty with bands and body weight. It is 2 weeks.

Nothing can replication a gym, but I had a similar quarantine and bands + body weight exercises made it manageable.

I'll be going to a country where a 14 day hotel quarantine is required, and will have my two kids under 10 with me and am looking for some exercise equipment ideas. Any suggestions on equipment to bring that could fit in a suitcase? All I've packed for exercise are resistance bands. Bonus points if the equipment doesn't take up half a suitcase and don't push my suitcase way over the weight limit. TIA!
