Can you all tell me if there’s a recently (maybe since 2012ish) built NOVA high school with a capacity of 1800+ that’s designed well. My school board has been fighting about the rebuild of a high school down here for almost two years so I’m looking at different ideas since they are only focused on arguing.
Thanks!
Woodgrove High School in Western Loudoun County.

Nope - capacity is smaller (1200-1500 students) plus it’s built on a very small site that would only be considered if there were serious space constraints.,
I would not recommend using this high school as a model for any new construction of other schools. Look at others.
Why? APS is looking at it as a model for the new Career Center building.

Meanwhile Fairfax sticks kids in trailers and cheap modulars, ignores sound facilities planning, and twiddles its thumbs bragging about its silly “equity” initiatives.
