I’m not, but DH is shopping for his third Chevy Tahoe and says he’ll never drive anything else.

Yes, I am.

If a brand has been a disappointment in the past, I will not purchase another car of the same brand later on.
On the flip side, if a vehicle has been very good to me mechanically then I tend to be loyal to the brand®️in the future.

I am on a tight budget so #1 to me has always been reliability.
I just want a decent, solid car.
I am not much into bells & whistles when it comes to cars.
Aesthetics mean zero to me.

Just want a Point A ➡️ Point B vehicle.
A steering wheel, a gas pedal, a brake pedal + four tires are all I really need.

I had a Hyundai before & it was mechanically sound.
I also had a KIA which never was.

I also had a Mercury which was a huge drain on my pocketbook once it hit 💯 miles so I will never purchase a Ford again‼️😡
Am on my third Honda which to me is a very dependable brand to buy.

Would go back to Mazda from Honda if I could. What's done is done, and the next one should be Tesla.
Honda is so slow and sluggish compared to Mazda. Used Mazda had no problems, but my new Honda already had a recall.
The car is so slow; I'm glad I only drive 25-35 mph and in the city.

Right now, we have three Toyotas. One of them replaced a Honda, the only other brand we've owned in the last 20 years.

I have had Japanese, US, German, and Italian brands. They are all pretty good now.

Not inflexibly so, but yeah, we've been super happy with our Hyundai Sonata and would certainly start by looking at Hyundais when we're ready for another car. I also have driven Subarus in the past that I've liked so would consider those.

My grandfather worked for Ford and only ever drove Fords. My parents drove Fords -- they got a discount because of my grandfather's work. When we bought our car (we were car-less until our 30s because we lived in cities) they pushed us hard to go with Ford, and we tried, but we just didn't like it as much as the Hyundai and even with the family discount, Hyundai was cheaper.

We're "Japan loyal". All of our cars have been Nissan, Honda or Subaru. In fact, we have one of each right now (our oldest will take our Honda Civic to college).

Another Honda lover here! First car was a used Civic, 2nd car was a new Civic, on my third Honda now, a new Odyssey. When the last child is off to college (3 more years), I plan to get a new CRV.

I only buy GM.

I actually had the first repair in my 2011 Cadillac this week. I made it a decade without a single issue including while under warranty. Was like $400 bucks. I think it was cause I used to live by beach 6 years and a front bearing was rusted and making noise. It was not garaged.

Yes. I have owned three cars in my life:

1991 - Honda Accord
2001 - Volkwagen Passat wagon (hated that car with a passion and got rid of it after only 8.5 years due to electrical system issues)
2009 - Honda Pilot (still driving it with 103K miles)

Yes we're brand loyal to Audi/Volkswagen (I guess that would include Porsche but not in the market for one). Makes it easy to adjust since the dash setup and controls are consistent.

Since 1997 -- when I graduated from college and made my first official "adult purchase" (year old Honda Accord)....I have ALWAYS driven a Honda. My husband too. Our cars have gone:
- 1996 Honda Accord
- 2002 Honda Accord
- 2009 Honda Accord
- 2010 Honda CRV
- 2012 Honda Odyssey
- 2018 Honda CRV
- 2020 Honda Pilot

It is funny because we don't necessarily "set out" to buy Hondas. So maybe "brand loyal" isn't the best phrase. Because whenever we are about to buy a new car we ALWAYS test drive other brands. Bought our Pilot around the New Year and test drove the Explorer, Highlander, Ascent, Telluride, and Atlas -- still just liked the Honda best. When we bought our most recent CRV, we also looked at the Rav 4 and Cx9. Just came back to Honda again! (Maybe some day we'll up our status and get an Acura )

How about you?
