That is very true as well. A lot of labs and discussion groups are in the evening and it will dark so that is something I was concerned about with my DD.
So are you not going to let her go if she has "late" classes. Seriously. She is an adult. Let her be.
hahahah who said I would not let her go? As her mother, just wanted to gage how far she'd be walking at night, potentially alone, in a city where we get frequent notifications about assaults around campus. Yeah my DD has grown up in a town of 600 people so she's not super savvy about city life so just wanted to counsel her that if it's far and late, that she should make sure she's walking with a friend etc. That may be too much helicoptering to you, but I think that's parenting.
