Moved to the District in early 90s. The lawless free for all vibe is starting to creep back in, and I haven’t felt that way in _decades_. That creepy dread where you don’t quite feel safe even in statistically safe-ish areas. The sense that trends are going in the wrong direction. The ^#&$ helicopters with spotlights, again

I used to think all these crime posts were a bit too much - but yeah this needs to stop. Something is wrong.

Tsk. Tsk. Biden should speak out, too. People can't even feel safe going to a baseball game.
