I hand embroider. It's so easy and I can't believe how good at it I am. I started off making Bucilla stocking kits for my family for Christmas (love them!). I embroider hand towels, shirts for my kids, and make sets of dinner napkins for friends and relatives. People have even asked me to embroider things for them, so I know others like them and appreciate them.

Gardening!!! (Veggies, fruit, herbs). I'm not into flowers, but I know they are needed for the pollinators, so I throw a few around the yard. I am addicted to eating food that I've grown and sharing with neighbors. So rewarding!!

Pottery! Pottery is great because you can grow in it infinitely, like other forms of art, but you still get the rewards of a “craft” like making useable things to enjoy/give away early in your journey.

I make soap - bath bombs, exfoliating scrubs, bar soap. Its tons of fun and best thing is I can use them in my nightly baths.

Bullet journals.

Make a planner. It'll be practical but can also be so artistic you can just keep the pages to look at.

I keep posting this when it comes up because I've gotten some friends into it and they love it too - paint by numbers. You get the most awesome art in the end!! And they have companies where you can actually upload your own photo and they'll turn it into a paint by numbers, so it's awesome for gifts too. (Did my sister's dog for her bday and the whole family loved it). Kitchy and fun and some of them take for-damn-ever so you really get a good bang for your buck.

Along these lines, some people make shadow boxes of a room in a house or other things. It's not a big of a project as a dollhouse - or as expensive.

I do macrame, but there isn't a lot of things to do with it. Some plant hangers. Some wall hangings. I like it, but it's just an occasional activity for me.

Scrapbooking might be fun for you. It's not that expensive, especially for start up. Sewing is another option - you can get a decent starter machine for less than $100 at Walmart of Joanne. Cake decorating, but its kind of the same as macrame. How many cakes can one family eat.

My passion is glass. Start up is pretty pricy -- probably a few hundred dollars. You could take a class at one of the local studios to see if you like it first or just watch a bunch of youtube videos.

Learn to draw. Tons of YouTube videos. Spend as little or as much as you want on supplies. But pencil and paper will do.

I would love to pick up a new hobby or craft. It would be great to be able to do from home or take classes/go somewhere sometimes.
I don't want to spend thousands of dollars so photography is out.
I already to Yoga 2x per week but am thinking of something more crafty.
Does anyone macramé?
