Awesome recommendations! Thanks guys. I'm making the list and letting the teen boys decide (which probably means that we will end up at Topic considering the online menus, but they may surprise me)!

Oh sorry — saw you wanted easy, casual fin so most of those suggestions are not apt. I’d say hamilton, old ebbit, or even the new Cheesecake Factory on 15tj (is it open yet?).
Or do one of the takeout places like Luke’s Lobster on H.

Taverna eel abadero?
Equinox?
Bombay Club?
Mirabella?
None are super close but close enough to walk. Hamilton is another that is more casual, but probably a longer walk.

That is a bit of a deadzone for restaurants, unfortunately. But one fits your requirements pretty perfectly: https://www.tonicrestaurantdc.com/menus/

Depending on where you plan to park and your tolerance for walking (~15 min), I’d suggest Duke’s Grocery - https://www.dukesgrocery.com/foggybottom.

It’s over by GW.

Old Ebbitt Grill... something for everyone, not too expensive and you can walk past the White House on the way.

We are going to see a show at DAR Constitution Hall in a few months. 4 adults and 4 teenage sons aged from 14 to 16. None of us are familiar with restaurants in the area since we will be driving up from Manassas VA. Looking for easy, casual, fun, not expensive. Any ideas for us?
