It must be more serious than just false ceiling falling down... Continue to place max pressure on them.

I don’t know what happened. It’s appears the the ceiling area above the front desk fell. Everything is covered with plastic right now. My neighbor mentioned something was going on this weekend and she’s worried about the buildings condition. I just moved in 5 weeks ago. They have sent an email last week letting us know they have booked a full inspection and will tell us the results “soon”.

What do you mean when you say partial ceiling collapse? Do you mean plaster or do you mean beams?

Ceiling collapse sounds like a leak that brought down the drywall, not a serious structural problem.

Should I be worried? I emailed the property manager to see if they're up to date with inspections. I was telling my sister one week before the Miami collapse my concerns about the building coming down. Life is crazy.
