the ban is new. Depending on the manufacture date of the suit, I'd check the usaswimming website prior to attempting to wear the suit
It sounds like you’re good, but this plan is smart.
The policy went into effect 9/1/20, but I think the time between the decision/announcement and the implementation was up to two years (it’s all been a blur). This gave the companies time to prepare, and it sounds to me like you knew to buy an appropriate suit that was labeled as such. I have heard of officials (not PVS) checking for the green check mark, but some manufacturers didn’t put them on, so I think carrying the tags or whatever you have with the 12&u designation is smart, but I also don’t think you’ll run into it if it’s a PVS meet.
