It sounds like you’re good, but this plan is smart.

The policy went into effect 9/1/20, but I think the time between the decision/announcement and the implementation was up to two years (it’s all been a blur). This gave the companies time to prepare, and it sounds to me like you knew to buy an appropriate suit that was labeled as such. I have heard of officials (not PVS) checking for the green check mark, but some manufacturers didn’t put them on, so I think carrying the tags or whatever you have with the 12&u designation is smart, but I also don’t think you’ll run into it if it’s a PVS meet.

Yes provided it’s a newer suit so confirming it’s approved for 12 and younger related to the current rules. Your kid should be prepared to provide it’s ok to officials. I’ve seen kids stopped and told they can’t swim in the suit they have on and then they proved the official wrong and could use it.

Hi - as long as my kids’ suit says it is 12 and under approved, should be fine for the current tech suit ban for younger kids, correct? Even if it has the fina logo on the back and is a “kneeskin”. It is an arena suit.
