Not the OP, but also an IVF traveler. If you have moved, but your eggs or embryos are frozen in a location that is now distant, it can be easier for you to travel to the embryo vs have it shipped to you.

Also, sometimes people prefer a specific clinic or doctor. Usually, it’s a case of having moved.

This is OP. I walked in today. It all lasted about 35 minutes from check in. Not too bad.

I've never walked in without an appointment, but the office never seemed very busy when I would go in earlier this summer. I would arrive between 7:50-8:00 for an 8:15 appointment and would always be seen early. It's a well oiled machine. I actually think the earlier times starting at 7:00 are the most coveted because people try to go before work. I think you could call at 7:00, and they will easily find a time for you to come before 9:30 if you don't want to just walk in.

I am using SGF for outside monitoring. My main clinic is in California and just told me they want me to go back to SGF tomorrow morning for more monitoring. The problem is SGF is already closed thanks to the time zone difference, so I can’t get them on the phone to schedule an appointment tomorrow. Can I walk in early tomorrow morning without an appointment? Has anyone tried this?
