I agree that's it's been expensive for awhile. But, I think the beaches are pretty great. I particularly love the drive on beaches south of Rehoboth where you can set up for the whole day and fish. I love the bay where you can lay in a raft and watch the sunset. The bay has some pretty fun boating and jet skiing if you like that sort of thing.

Traffic this week is crazy. Next year we’ll stick to our late May and early June trips (plus off season trips) and hit elsewhere in July and August.
We’re lucky since our friends lend us their beach house for free. I cannot imagine spending $$$$$ to go to DE.
