Occasionally,.but not often.

One of my friends from the deep south is gay, and proganda funded by Chick-fil-A with Focus on the Family ended up being critical in turning his mom against him. He's still bitter, especially because he's the one who had to take care of his elderly mom because every other sibling had kids to take care of.

Every time I eat there I'm reminded of him, and then don't go for a long time. As one of my other friends says, it's delicious "hate chicken.'

The company has tried to vary it's giving more recently,.so that's good.

No we do not.

It's great living in America we have choices. My choice not to others 100% go enjoy.

As for Hobby Lobby never ever will go there and will work very hard to put them out of business. They go too far with their garbage ideals.

I don't and won't because of their politics--but it's been an incredibly easy position to take because I didn't eat there before this all came out. The once or twice I've eaten there I wasn't thrilled with their food so never felt the need to go back.

Same on both for me. And, we don't shop at Home Depot either. There is nothing that tastes so good that I would support a business that actively supports those who are trying to destroy my family.

No to eating it & yes, that is why. One of my favorite stories about a former coworker is that when she was 8 months pregnant she walked 8 blocks in the opposite direction at lunchtime in the DC summer heat so she wouldn't have to give them a dime (her sister's LGBTQ & my DC is as well, so we've talked about it).

If we’re on a road trip and fast food is the only option, I always hope for a Chick Fil A. We generally don’t eat fast food otherwise. I’m pro gay rights but don’t let politics influence my purchasing decisions.

I eat at ChikFilA but hell will freeze over before you'll ever catch me in a Hobby Lobby.

I do very occasionally, even though I don't like their stance on gay marriage or other LGBTQ+ issues. In general we try not to patronize businesses with these kinds of political stances (Chick-Fil-A, Urban Outfitters, etc.). But we also don't like to patronize businesses that have poor employment practices, and if we are on a road trip and I need to pick between the two, I'll choose the business with the bad politics over the one that actively takes advantage of their employees.

Ultimately, I think the people who own Chick-fil-a are relatively powerless over the shifting attitudes in this country wrt LGBTQ+ issues, as well as other "family values" issues. I think coordinated boycotts are really tough because consumers often have limited choices, and I'm not going to judge anyone who eats at Chick-fil-a or orders from Amazon because I don't know what went into those decisions.

BUT, if given a choice, I will make a different one. I'm just not militant about it and think there are better ways to combat conservative politics than yelling at people for eating a chicken sandwich.

I eat it but could go without. I have some gay friends that despise the company for all the obvious reasons and other gay friends that don’t care and continue to eat their food. I think their attitude summed up is “OK go ahead and spend your money and resources fighting thr gay lifestyle but it’s going to continue to thrive anyway. In the meantime your chicken is delicious”

No, the food sucks and its politics such harder.

I do because it is a franchise business and the individual owners may not share the views of corporate.

We are pro-LGBTQ people (we are straight and there are no LGBTQ people that we know). We hate the Chic-Fil-A anti-LGBTQ stance but we like their food. So we do buy food from there but we are not sympathetic to the company. In future, if things ever get hairy for them, we will not feel bad. This company has no goodwill from us.

If not, is it because of their stance on LBGTQ issues? My child has voiced concerns and I’m trying to fully understand the whole thing.
