I went to another practice but I saw my surgeon only during my procedure. I was in hospital for 4 days and different doctors from the practice did rounds. I went to a follow-up/
at 2 weeks and that was it.

Did you see your surgeon before you were discharged? Is everything okay? I wouldn't expect the surgeon to follow up after something that, for them, is pretty routine.

Are you having issues? Is there something you want to discuss with the surgeon? I had my myomectomy at a different practice years ago so can't comment on GW specifically and don't remember if my surgeon called to follow up before I saw him again.

I don't know, but I'm sorry you're having that experience. Maybe you'd get more responses in the health and medicine forum?

I had a Myomectomy at GWU MFA. Its been 7 days. The surgeon has not spoken to me once since then. Even my 3 week follow up was setup with someone else within the practice. Is this normal? Has anyone else had their myomectomy at GWU?

I left them messages and am waiting to hear back.
