I can appreciate that you are having regrets about the purchase, but I don’t think claiming that a doctor over injected you is a fair complaint. 35 units is not a heavy hand. Sometimes these items crop up, even among very trained “reputable” injectors. I go a board certified derm, but that doesn’t negate that sometimes the botox doesn’t minimally travel.

I do find that my face 24-48 hours post injection looks different than where is settles after about a week +/-. Op you nay find in a couple days you look more like a refreshed version of yourself.

Thanks PP. I will wait out, I hate the fact I paid $700 for something I need to wait to wear off!

Yes, it will definitely wear off but it will take a few months. If you're symmetrical now, I'd say just wait it out. Adding more might help but it might not, and do you really want more botox given how the first bit worked out?

This is OP. I went to the best injector in my area. Going back tomorrow and I am sure she will want to add more to fix the eye lid but I am really on the fence. I prefer my before the Botox face. I am so disappointed, I know it works great for many. I am 41 and never had a Botox before.

I am a professional Botox injector and there are different reasons for this. Although it's possible the relaxation of your forehead is now making your eyelids look droopy, if you had it done around your eyes, it's also possible some slid into your eyelid and in that situation it will get worse for the next week and then stay that way until it starts to wear off 6-12 weeks from now. The one thing I can assure you of is that it is not permanent and will go away within 3 months.

This happened to me once. I can’t remember the exact anatomical reason, but people with more hooded eyelids (like me) can experience a droopiness/heaviness in their foreheads after botox. I think Botox in the 11s lifts and in the forehead it drops?

The last time I went for botox, I was given a few units in my crows feet, which apparently offsets the droop. It worked.

I felt this way but it wasn't actually happening. Are you sure it is an actual droop, or are you a person who is expressive with their eyebrows and often raises them subconsciously? They are supposed to ask you about that, and get you to make some faces, talk for a while to see, and alter the technique if you are one of those people.

I had Botox done on my forehead first time last week. Went to a really good dermatologist, she does hundreds per week. My forehead is smooth but my eye loss seem droopier especially one of them and I don’t lie the look. Anyone can relate?
