Girl, try giving him a happy meal with big fries. Then ask, how is your stomach? You need to know if your child is starving all the time or not. If doesn't hurt, kid probably not fed enough or fed right. What is he eating for typical breakfast, lunch, dinner?

Id want him to get GI scan to exclude anything not good.

Get him to gastroenterologist!

Poop texture is good. Really don't think it's related to that but could be.

Well school ended a week ago so his routine changed. And we're about to head on vacation.

Could he be growing and just be hungry? Sometimes when I am really hungry, it feels like my stomach hurts.

Alternatively, is he getting enough to drink? It’s been so hot out this week.

Sounds psychological to me. What’s going on in his life right now?

He doesn't seem to be in any type of distress. If it continues, I'll likely call a ped. I was just curious if others have gone through something similar.

Why haven’t you taken him for a medical evaluation? There is no way for strangers on the internet to diagnose a health problem, and seems odd to do that instead of caring for the child by providing medical care. Perhaps you have but didn’t mention it?

For the past week or two, my 4 year old has complained of a tummy ache throughout the day. However, he's definitely not sick, and he doesn't act sick at all.

Sometimes when I prompt for more info he'll say "It's a hungry tummy" but other times he can't describe it. He poops regularly so I don't think it's constipation.

I mostly just offer a hug and say we'll keep an eye on it.

But, I also feel bad if there's something actually wrong and I'm ignoring it.

Then I sorta remember older DS going through a phase when he was 4 where he did this, so maybe it's just the age?

Any ideas? Anyone with a kid doing something similar?
