Had 2 hysteroscopy/polypectomies one in Dec 2020 and the second April 2021. Our infertility was diagnosed MFI but my RE wouldn’t do an FET with polyps present. Got pregnant from my first FET June 2021.

I’ve heard people can get pregnant with them.
Good luck to you!

I think this is important to know. I had polyps removed and my doctor made it clear that while polyps certainly affect fertility, it may not be the underlying issue. For me, they weren’t either. But I was able to get pregnant naturally eventually - after ‘fixing’ several problems.

Had polyp removed may 13th, had my only frozen embryo transferred may 29, currently 9 weeks pregnant today. Had 5 failed transfers before the removal. Will never know if we just got lucky or of that one tiny polyp was throwing everything off in my uterus. I had switched RE’s, my previous doctor never even checked for polyps.

I've had a history of polyps. I had 2 kids in my 30s and then an ectopic pregnancy close to 40. My uterus was apparently occupied by a large polyp which may have contributed to the ectopic implantation in my Fallopian tube. I had emergency surgery to remove the rupturing ectopic pregnancy as well as a D & C. A year or so later, in my early 40s, had a surprise pregnancy and gave birth to a full-term baby!

I never had it removed, and conceived all 5 of my children on the first try, naturally.

I had a polypectomy and still needed ART to conceive my first. I did conceive my second naturally after a few months of trying. It was likely due to getting my PCOS completely under control beforehand though.

I have heard it doesn't take long after removal. Perhaps wait a few months.

How long did it take? I had on in my twenties but wasn’t married then and not trying to conceive. Have another one now at 37. Already have had a baby close to two years ago and need to have a polyp removed first.

Curious to hear how long it’s taken others.
