Mine is three and is often the only in his age bracket but there are definitely a lot of older Connors around.

Love the name. It’s surprisingly hard for people to remember one “n” or two, but there is always something.

Love Connor! I do think it’s still a popular name, but only because it’s a nice name! I love Owen too.

You should name your kid whatever you want but I wouldn’t say Owen or Caleb are Irish names.

+1. My favorite 8 yr old boy in the world is named Connor (nephew) I love the name!

I think it's fine. DS has a close friend named Connor, who one day woke up, decided he hated his name and from then on would only answer to his middle name, Nicholas (Nicky/Nick).

It's nice. Has a strong Irish Catholic vibe for me. My mom's generation had a number of male Connors who went by Connie, not sure if that nn appeals to you but it has a nice old-fashioned feel to me.
