I employ a nanny on the books and use a payroll service. I'll call them on Monday, but in the interim does anyone know the latest regarding cares/family first and covering pay if the nanny has COVID? She is on vacation, traveling in a different area, (is vaccinated) and got a positive COVID test. Is there still a legal mandate and /or some kind of tax credit regarding giving her partial pay for the 1 week+ she will be out because of covid?
