It’s normal for shops to drive cars during/after repair work to make sure everything is reinstalled correctly. 100 miles is completely reasonable.

I agree. My car got rear ended at 60 mph when parked. Was a 18 month old Cadillac with 5k mile so insurance did not total it but was $18,000 in damage so was on frame straightener machine twice so was driven back and forth a lot to make sure aligned.

Btw the Japanese car that hit me went airborne landed upside down and looked like it was in a crushing machine. My car looked pretty good compared.

But unless like my car that is way too much much

Pretty normal at my body shop if frame damage or a big hit. They drive them back and forth to home to see if running ok.

I'm pretty much sure. I know the odometer had not hit 20,000 when it went in. The 19,933 "Mileage In" number was what was on the invoice when I picked it up today. The 20,060 was on the odometer before leaving their lot.

I'll call or send them a message to see what they say.

Really strange when it was in for collision.

Our car went in for collision repair about a week and a half ago. Mileage in was at 19,933. Mileage out today was 20,060. That struck us as quite a difference. Just wondering if that seems typical. I thought about questioning it in the survey.
