I should have widened two doorways before I put in hardwoods. No one will notice but me but it was a missed opportunity that would be too expensive to bother with now, in addition to challenge of matching the hardwoods

It shouldn't be difficult to make a square opening into an arch.

In my case it wasn’t something I did but something I didn’t do. Our old house has arches between the living, dining and stairway. I did not include an arch in the design of the kitchen and it was such a missed opportunity. Still mad thinking about it!
