We're going to see family in Seattle for the month of August, but are desperate to get away for just a few days before then. Where would you go for 3 or 4 days with a max distance from DC of 3 hours by car and/or plane. Travelers are DH and I, plus either 2 or 3 college and HS kids. I know we're late to the party, so open to your ideas. We like to hike, bike, play tennis, kayak, sail, swim . . . etc. Whisk us away, DCUM!
