Can you tell us a little bit about what you believe?

How much time do you have?

Definitely looking for something different than Cedar Lane, but thanks for that recommendation!

Here are a few snippets of what we believe:
God in 3 persons (Trinity)
Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God who became man without ceasing to be God, having been conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary, in order that he might reveal God and redeem humanity
The Bible is the inspired Word of God
We believe in the person and work of the Holy Spirit
We believe that salvation is the gift of God brought to man by grace and received by personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, whose blood was shed on the cross at Calvary for the forgiveness of our sins

Probably Mclean Bible Church.

Check out St Paul’s UMC in Kensington. The Children’s programming is what swayed us over other churches. Sunday School is the same time as the main service. Great programming for MS and HS kids and a rich music program. As a multiracial family we love that the organist and head pastor are African American.

Has anyone been to Bridge City Church? Not OP but new to the area and looking for non-denominational churches.

If you are willing to cross the Tiber you will find many people with similar convictions at Holy Redeemer.

I understand “non-denominational” to mean evangelical Christian. If that’s the case, OP, ignore the recommendations for Cedar Lane, which isn’t Christian at all.

My family is relocating to the Kensington/Silver Spring area in September, and we are looking for some church recommendations! We have traditionally attended non-denominational churches, and would like a place with a strong children's program. Also open to Rockville suggestions.
