Yes. Instead of when a bunch of people who don’t know my kid are left to just do it without being able to reach out to teachers who actually know my kid.
This isn't how it works. The teachers may make recommendations based on performance and scores, but the math coaches and guidance counselors make the placements.
Again, for my rising sixth grader, a guidance counselor and math coach who have never met my kid.
