Just because a school had those groups in the past, doesn't mean they will necessarily have them in the future because they are based on current volunteers/parents/staff members.

Volunteer to help out if it's that important to your family.

Whoops- sometimes the RTG also runs a team. Just depends on their workload.

DD is interested in science and we are looking for avenues for her to join a similar-minded group (Grades 3-5). I see that only Jamestown and Taylor Elementary have Science Olympiad teams. How active are these teams? I'm curious why other schools have not set up their respective teams? Lack of coaches/manpower/funding?
