I have a 2019 hybrid. Since others are not chiming in, I'll give my thoughts.
It works great for us. For the most part it is a standard mid-sized SUV. But the optional 3rd row is great. My twins are 9 and we've just started carpooling to things. I can go and get a couple of other kids and still not have a kid in the front seat since most of the kids shouldn't be sitting in the front seat. Also, we've used it when we've had family visiting in town so we only have to take one car. In the past, I would rent a minivan for the week of a visit. Don't have to do that now. Most of the time we don't use the third row, but it's available when needed and easy to put up and down. I like that the navigation/options screen is a decent 8" size. The Honda PIlot had a tiny 5" screen (you can get the 8" screen with upgrade packages, but it doesn't come in the base model). The larger screen is so much better.
I know that it's standard now, but love all the bluetooth connections for phones, etc and how easy it is to change from one phone to another (I have one personal, one for work and my wife has one, so we switch from one to another regularly). My old car was a 2006 Ford Escape hybrid and didn't have any bluetooth functions. And my wife's 2009 Prius has bluetooth, but it's a pain to switch devices. So, while I know this is pretty standard in most cars now, it's a huge improvement for us.
Kids love having easy to use environmental controls in the back seat that they can adjust, plus the multiple vents, one above the door and one at their feet. I can monitor what they change and can adjust (and lock) when they are fighting, but for the most part, they can control it themselves. Again, probably standard in many SUVs of the size/class, but wasn't available 15 years ago when we got the previous car.
The kids love the built in sunscreens on their windows. For one who gets frequent motion sickness on longer rides, the sunscreen helps cut down the motion in his peripheral vision and it helps the motion sickness a lot. Nice that it is built into the window and easy to put up as he needs.
I like that it came with two sets of floor mats. I have carpeting for drier times and rubber when needed for wet/muddy times (like winter with winter boots).
The one big minus that I don't like is that it didn't come with a trunk cover. And when I bought the official Toyota one, it installs behind the optional third row. If you leave the third row seat down (which we do most of the time), there is a gap of about a foot between the trunk cover and the back seat and anyone can see what's there. What's the point of a trunk cover that only covers 3/4 of the trunk? I've put a trunk caddy with all of the junk in that spot so it covers half of the exposed area, but still annoying.
