I love my Rava. I chose over Clek Foonf based on consumer reports. I know, consumer reports is super old school, but they actually do crash tests and it isn't some blogger or unqualified review team. Many people love it, though.

FWIW, the top rated car seats are Chicco NextFit Zip, three britax ClickTight models, and Nuna Rava. I liked that the Rava was easy to adjust tightness, easy to install, and had high rear facing weight limit.

+1. We had a Clek and my 98th percentile kid outgrew it at age 4. She's now in a Radian in one car and a Monterey booster in another. Late convert to Diono, but a big fan now. Comfortable according to a picky 5 year old, safe, and very narrow.

I find the Rava to be really easy to install. I’ve never tried a Floonf.

Same, Rava was easy.

The Clek only goes to 43 inches rearfacing, while the Rava goes to 49 inches. The Rava is also an easier install. Unless you need a narrow seat side to side, I would get the Rava.

This is true. Foonf is a beast and super heavy. We got ours because it’s so narrow. We can sit an adult and 2 kids in the back.

I had a friend who pushed the Foonf a lot but ultimately we got the Rava, and are really happy with it, super comfy, fits our larger than average kid well. We ended up buying a 2nd one.

We have a foonf and didn’t buy a second one for our second kid, because it’s fine but not great.

My DD (4, tall) puked the first time we used it rear facing and had never done that before. It sits really high for rear facing and she got car sick. She’s now forward facing and while she likes it we do hear complaints sometimes on long trips (over an hour). The foonf is super utilitarian and not cushy.

If you own both these car seats or considered both, which one do/did you prefer? For what it’s worth, we drive a Tesla Model Y and would like something that doesn’t take up too much space rear-facing. Thanks in advance!
