Adventist healthcare has a therapy gym anyone can join at the Shady Grove hospital.

They have two of the arm bikes.

Thanks, but very far from me. I live in central moco. Would need a place very close, because I'm not even supposed to drive, but I can get away with rare, short drives.

Anyways I thought about it, I shouldn't even be driving to a gym unless it is super close. My life is going to truly suck when I can't work remotely anymore. 2 hours each day not in my boot, not healing, making it worse by pressing the gas peddle. ugh.


Can’t you qualify for staying at home on the basis of medical disability? Your doctor should be able to write you a note for your HR department.


^ Sorry, forgot to add that workplace must make reasonable accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act.

They may let me on on short term disability, at 55% pay, but it's very unlikely the client will let me work from home after the pandemic ends. My manager is prepared to ask, but she said it's possible they will say no.

What you are looking for is a UBE-Upper Body Ergometer usually found in PT offices and some gym do have them our Sport and health does they look like this

great workouts for those who have shoulder issues and also when they have leg issues preventing them from a full body workout.

I totally get that! But I'd just call up the gyms close to you, or in your price range, and ask. Then go from there. Good luck and happy healing!

Preferably a cheap gym in moco? I have a ruptured achilles tendon and can't use one of my legs with any weight, so I'm very limited in what I can do.
