Why in the world would they have given you 7.5- the point of Letrazole isn’t to speed up ovulation, it’s to make sure it happens and when it does you have a ready egg, which you clearly accomplished with 5mg. I’d sit this cycle out. “Selectively reducing” is disgusting and should be illegal, particularly when someone uses FERTILITY TREATMENTS to conceive them all. I mean c’mon ppl.
OP here: Yes I was getting an egg with 5mg but the last couple of months, it’s been taking to CD19-20 to get there and my clinic doesn’t like to see you trigger past CD18. He agreed that my egg growth was slowing compared to what it did a few months ago and agreed to up me to 7.5 as long as I was ok with the higher chance of multiples. I plan on seeing where they are at size wise on Friday morning and then will make a decision from there. My post was for others who have also done this so please leave your negativity elsewhere.
Yeah I HAVE done this. Just did in fact. Ovulated late too on 5mg - one follicle - pregnant. That’s the goal right? This is just terrible medical protocol.
