Surgery was in July. Had an HSG in early October. Was pregnant with an iui by the first week in November. DS was born 2 days before the one year anniversary of the myomectomy.
OP again. Did your uterus shrink back at all after fibroid removal?
Yes. When I had an HSG before the myomectomy, the uterus was so distended that the fluid didn’t fill up and go out one of the Fallopian tubes. When I had the second HSG right after the myo, it was fine. The fluid filled it and went through both tubes. You could see that it was no longer distended. As I noted, I got pregnant a few weeks later. No issues. I did have to have a c-section because the surgery on the uterine wall compromised it.
Got pregnant a second time 4.5 years later. There were fibroids seen during that pregnancy, but they were small and didn’t interfere with anything.
