Subject: left Kombucha out overnight- still good?
OP here- I drank it earlier today and it tasted fine. No stomach issues to report. Thanks for the responses.

There could be some air pressure build up if the culture grew significantly overnight (CO2 byproduct). I would open the bottle to release pressure for just in case.

It's a live culture (or supposed to be). The acidity of kombucha suppresses growth of bad bacteria. It may taste a little more sour if the kombucha culture grew faster than usual due to warmer temperature, but otherwise should be fine.

I wouldn’t use kombucha if it had been left out for hours in a hot car but at those temperatures I’d be okay with it. It will just taste more acidic.

It is fine but may taste more vinegar-y due to the continued fermentation. I left a $36 case out for two days recently and drank it all. It was more sour for sure but fine.

Taste it. If it tastes ok, then I’d have it.

I would not risk it, and I’m pretty lax about those things in general.

Refrigeration just stops the additional fermentation when conditioning in the bottle so I would think it’s fine.

I bought a large ($8.00) bottle of Kombucha while grocery shopping last night. It was in the refrigerated section of the store.
I woke up this morning and saw that I had left it on the counter (unopened) overnight. Our house temp is around 69F at night....
