I mean there's a difference between the general prestige/experience of going to undergrad somewhere and the broader caliber of the university as a research institution. Some have both going for them

I went to UCSD and my kid is at W&M - they both belong on the list. Irvine does not.

What do you guys think. I think mine is pretty similar to US News (excluding Florida lol). Criteria I used were selectivity, average test scores, academic prestige, etc.
