I want to give the strata bump. My husband and I did marriage counseling after about a year of trying to conceive. The infertility was an issue, but to be honest we had some other issues to work through that were more acute. From my experience and in chatting with others in the infertility community, the vast majority of marriage counselors have experience working with clients dealing with infertility. I would find one your insurance takes who has good reviews and do a test session to see how the fit is.

Hi - looking for possible leads for a marriage counselor in the area - preferably around Reston, Sterling, Tysons area. Or just to hear about other people’s experiences with counseling and whether it helped. We’ve been doing infertility treatments for 2+ years with zero to show for it and it’s taken a toll.
