Op here. Wow. Thanks. I had no idea it was this expensive. I also have no idea how large my attic is.

NP. That’s a day’s labor for probably one to two people, removal and disposal of the old insulation (if applicable), inspection and filling of crevices and holes, new insulation and installation. I can see the price.

We just had ours replaced by PestNow. We had mice and flying squirrels up in the attic. They vacuumed out all the old insulation and put down TAP insulation which is pretreated to repel pests.

I wouldn’t ask a general handyman to do this. Animal dropping cleanup requires hazmat protection to be safe.

I want to have someone go up and clean any bugs or animal droppings that may have accumulated over the years. Who in the world would I call to do that? I’m certain a residential house cleaning company wouldn’t be interested. TIA.
