I’m a big fan of pork because it takes so many different flavors well and can easily be served boneless. I probably skew to Mexican and Italian recipes (Carnitas, Cochinita de Pibil, Amatriciana, Ragu made from shredded pork shoulder, Maiale al Latte) but also enjoy souvlaki, Carolina pulled pork sandwiches, etc.
I love gelato — especially stracciatella and berry flavors (in Italy — haven’t had good luck here).
Various European-style cakes — usually with some combination of 3 of the following ingredients: fruit/nut/liqueur/chocolate/coffee.
