I’m a teacher. I like other people’s kids 99% of the time.

This is how I feel too. Just like adults, some kids I like, some I don’t.

I love kids! But I'm an introvert, so in small doses.

Actually thought I wouldn't, but I do. It's actually been more of the parents I dislike.

Never liked kids, even babies, until I had my own. Like some of my nieces and nephews, some not. Just like adults—like some, don’t like some.

I find for the most part I didn’t particularly enjoy my kids’ friends when they were younger but once they hit their teens I really liked them. Teens get a bad rap but they can be really funny and sweet and insightful and I enjoy eavesdropping on them from the front seat of my car.

Only now that I have kids. I was indifferent/awkward before. But now I'm like "give me that baby!!"

At certain ages. I am not into babies the way some people are (adored my own, just not that interested in others). But I really enjoy the 3/4 to about 8 age. And I really like a lot of teens once they’ve worked through the bulk of their adolescence, as well. Puberty, though... ugh. I have a ton of empathy for kids in puberty but I’m not excited to be around them. Brings back sooooo many awkward memories.

I’ll never understand random baby obsession though. I was worried I wouldn’t make a good mom specifically because most babies do nothing for me. I though I was missing some maternal gene or something. But it’s totally different when it’s your baby. I finally got what the fuss was about. But I’m STILL not into other people’s babies. They don’t do anything! I don’t even find them that cute. 4 year olds are definitely cuter, plus they are funny and interesting too.

Some, in short doses (a few hours for a play date). Most, nope.

Generally I don't care for other people's kids. But when my kids like other kids, the liking rubs off on me over time and I start to like those kids too.

Do you like other people kids... or just your own?
