I love 10 am parties!
For 9am it would need to be nearby home, and have a good reason for starting that early, like mid summer outdoors before it gets too hot.

OP here. That was also my reaction. I don’t want to have to be anywhere before 10:30 earliest on a weekend. But my youngest still sleeps in til 8:30 or 9 occasionally so I wasn’t sure if my surprise was off base.
