I personally see them as very different particularly when looking at their boardwalks, shops and restaurant options. Myrtle Beach is more like Ocean City than Rehobeth. However it’s much larger and has more activities like go carts/water slides , confederate flags, etc.
We usually go to Rehoboth or Bethany. Have not been to OC in years. I was picturing Myrtle beach as a nicer OC with more to do?
It’s very busy like Ocean City with lots to do, yes. However the Delaware and Maryland beaches attract a more northern clientele while Myrtle Beach attracts a more southern clientele (Pro gun and confederate flag shirts abound). There are nicer sections of Myrtle Beach, Like Ocean Isle and close by Oak Island.
