No masks outdoors in my suburb.

Outside for a small party with kids who can control themselves? No.

Indoors? Yes.

Giant gathering like baseball game or graduation party? Yes.

I assume it depends on the child, and the the family members. Kids who get sick easily or have a frail sibling, would probably need to wear a mask.

No masks at outdoor parties for my kids and their friends since early last summer.

+1. I'm not putting my kid in this situation. No party is worth this.

Yep. Dd isn’t yet 12 but lots of her friends have been having birthdays outside and they continue to wear masks as they did last summer/fall.

Yes I’ve been to several backyard parties in the last few weeks. All kids masked outside.

There will be some that are upset, but do what’s best for you. We did a party in the park with 13 year olds before vaccines were available. All of the children wore masks to the park, but they were quickly ditched as they ran around and took pictures. For me, being outside lowers the risk enough that I’m okay with it. FWIW, all invited children came with no issues.

My dd is having an outdoor movie night for her 12th birthday party. She is not yet vaccinated and her friends will be at best partially vaccinated. We have been very covid cautious but as there are no high risk individuals in our household combined with lowering case rates, we are feeling better about our dd not having to mask outside. We haven't been to any parties recently so not sure if kids are turning up masked or not and whether we should say something on the invitation? I have a feeling some of the parents will be unhappy if the kids are not all masked...
