The plot might be closer to the other movie about Henry Hill, "My Blue Heaven" starring Steve Martin and Rick Moranis.

Both dads got what they wanted - their sons are playing DII baseball. Would be a great final act if they played each other in the DII championships!

The moral of the story here is that no matter how bad you think someone is or badly you think someone is behaving, there is always someone out there who is worse.

I was thinking I Married the Mob meets Moneyball meets Jersey Shore.

It was as if Martin Scorsese had directed "The Bad News Bears"! Ray Liotta and Robert DeNiro could play the two protagonists.

Wow. Talk about trashy.

It reminds me a bit of the Brooklyn Heights preschool article, honestly.

The number of parents with criminal backgrounds was astounding. The NY/NJ parents in my area are the worst.

Parents ruin every single activity their kids are involved in.
Parents who drink at kid's events cause problems.
Your kids are not going to be pros. From 2016 USA Today article: high school football players, it’s 1 in 6,000. Baseball is 1 in 4,000. Basketball is 1 in 10,000. "

Parents need to stop being assh*les who are reliving their childhoods through their kids.

Good article from Esquire here: https://www.esquire.com/sports/a36439323/daddy-ball-long-island-youth-baseball-rivalry/

Makes all of the stupid stuff around here look like child's play!
