OP here. The wives makes around that and higher. All my male friends, myself included, make over 300k. Very good money wherever you live. Majority are doctors, lawyers, or in finance.

OP here. I don’t know the exact dollar amount they make but I know we all make over 100k. It’s not hard to tell based on their jobs and lifestyles. My guy friends don’t care, but the wives tend to be judgmental. Even the one who stays home with her two kids had very lucrative career in finance. I don’t care for their wives that much, but I’ve been friends with these guys for many years.

OP here. My friends are not the problem - their wives are. They are very judgmental. One friend of mine dated a receptionist and they all said rude comments about her job. They are snobs.

Get new friends.

I’ve been dating a woman I met through work since March. Things are becoming much more serious. I’m hesitant to introduce her to my friends because their wives can be very judgmental. Most of my friends and their wives have high achieving careers, with advanced degrees and large salaries. No one in our group makes below 100k. The woman I’ve been dating is a medical tech and makes about $60k/year and has no advanced degrees. It doesn’t matter to me at all, but I know the wives can be very critical and judgmental. I plan to invite her to a function this weekend with everyone but I’m very nervous. I really like her and I want them to like her too. I don’t want her feel uncomfortable at all. Please give me advice to make this go smoothly.
