Actually there are lots of players looking forward to play some extra games. I have asked some opportunities for my u12 son but no luck so far.

I feel you, we've played games with no subs before. Maybe let the ref know you don't have any subs and have a water break in each half.
Also, I've see before the opposite team lending a player. Maybe bring an extra jersey?

Thank you, that is good info. Unfortunately, the teammates who cannot make it encountered circumstances outside their control, so it is really not their fault, just unfortunate.

With older kids they sort this out for themselves by asking friends whe necessary.
OP here. My daughter has friends that play rec, but they wouldn't have player cards.
